FOUNDATIONS

The Commons are shared resources jointly managed by a community according to a set of rules and social norms that ensure sustainable use and equitable access.

Post-Capitalism reorients production from capitalism’s imperative of capital accumulation towards the satisfaction of societal needs within planetary boundaries.

A regenerative future leverages the commons to restore natural ecosystems and repair the damage capitalist alienation has caused to our social fabric.

The liberatory potential of emerging technologies and horizontal social techniques lies in their ability to empower communal self-governance vis-a-vis centralised authority.

VISION

As an experimental playground for post-capitalist systems design, the commons hub explores the liberatory potential of emerging technologies and social techniques that facilitate horizontal communities.

Our aim is to develop a testing ground for the commons that puts these innovations to work,
building a regenerative future in the here-and-now.

This is why our long-term goal is to establish a Valley of the Commons: a place where cooperative housing, cosmo-local production, and systemic resilience converge into a living laboratory of post-capitalism.
